ALCHEMY OF HEALING
Alchemy has an answer for everything. It stands as a platform of wisdom that unifies all things - Science, Spirituality, Art, Philosophy, Consciousness, and the Cosmos. This becomes strikingly apparent in conversations regarding Health, which are inherent to the alchemical practice. Alchemy offers more than just perspective on how one heals, it offers the answer.

Below you will find the distillation of thousands of years worth of alchemical tradition. Timeless wisdom that has been rendered into simple, digestible, and applicable chunks that capture the essence of it all and provide answers for how you can overcome any obstacle and transform heavy experiences into a life untarnished.

3 Pillars of Health

-Mitochondria, Microbiome, Minerals-

There are endless theories regarding what protocol is best for optimal health. However, few agree on which one is best. So, new trends emerge every few years, attempting to fill gaps in previous models. There is something consistent amongst them all but few have noticed. Three things actually: Minerals, Microbiome, and Mitochondria

We refer to these foundational principles as the 3 Pillars. The 3 Pillar of health are at the root of all physical concerns. That means that if they are balanced, sickness it not possible. Below you will find brief overviews for each pillar, what you can do to balance them, and how they determine your health.

Mitochondria

You are an amalgamation of cells and your well being is influenced by how well they all function.. Therefore, it is of the utmost importance to take care of these cells and give them what they need to flourish. The most important part of these cells is what drives them: the Mitochondria. Mitochondria are the "powerhouse of the cell." Without them, no energy would be produced in the body and life would not be possible.
Picture
How they work
Mitochondria produce something called ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is basically the energy currency of the body. The more efficient and on point this production is, the better the body does. Think of Mitochondria like mini power-plants that convert raw materials into usable energy and the associated waste products.

The main way in which ATP is produced is through the liberation and subsequent breakdown of stored chemical energy: Carbohydrates(sugars), Fats(fatty acids), Protein(amino acids). When these molecules are broken down ATP essentially captures and transports the energy from the reaction to wherever the energy is needed. From here ATP is broken down into ADP (adenosine diphosphate) releasing energy for the purpose needed: muscle contraction, nerve signaling, electron transport, detoxification, etc. This ADP is then recycled and bound to another phosphate group to once again form ATP. This boom and bust cycle continues over and over day in and day out and is involved in almost every single function of the body.

As mentioned above just like a power plant has waste products. this process also has waste products that our body must excrete, such as carbon dioxide (excreted via the lungs), water (excreted via the kidneys), and reactive oxygen species (free radicals). Normally the body has enough resources to balance and take care of these waste products, however, in this day an age, for a myriad of reasons the body can struggle to keep up.

Where can they go wrong?
It's no secret that we as humans do not live in a vacuum and as such nor do our cells. The modern world we inhabit is filled with daily stressors that our body must cope with to survive and, hopefully, thrive. These stressors come in many forms and they all require ATP to be dealt with, more ATP means a greater demand for energy and an increase in potentially harmful waste products.

The most harmful of these waste products are called reactive oxygen species which are essentially negatively charged oxygen molecules. These oxygen molecules look to fill their outer shells by stealing electrons from other molecules present around our cells, one of their favorite targets being cellular membranes. This stealing can cause altered membrane permeability, altered receptor activity and even decreased cellular enzymatic functioning. What this all means is that normal cellular functioning is inhibited and considering you are made up of cells this is not a good thing. Inhibited functioning equals less energy, less energy equals less total functional capacity, which makes stepping into ones higher potentials a non-reality.

What can you do?
The key to helping keep mitochondria production optimal and reducing oxidative damage is actually quite simple: adequate cellular nutrition and proper hydration. This means that nutrient digestion/absorption must be a priority (cellular nutrition), clean mineral rich water must be present, and environmental toxins need to be kept a minimum.

However, all of these are not a reality for most, no matter where one chooses to go environmental toxins are likely to be present, even our natural spring water is not what it used to be and the common diet is largely nutrient deficient. This does not mean all hope is lost just that steps must be taken to cover ones basis. The following 2 Pillars should be the first priority of anyone looking to achieve optimal functioning as they truly set the foundation for higher potentials to be embodied.

Once the following 2 Pillars (Minerals and Microbiome) are solid then if the individual really wants to take things to the next level they need to look at specific cellular nutrients. Nutrients that reduce oxidative stress, lower inflammation, and help the body better utilize and produce ATP.

Microbiome

The second pillar required for optimal functioning is the Microbiome. Often considered as the human bodies ‘second brain’ it plays a much larger role in how we as individuals function than many people know.

The Microbiome or ‘Halo-biome’, as some are now referring to it, consists of all the diverse bacterial cells, inside and out, that call a human body home. Based upon current research it is estimated that the ratio of bacterial cells to human cells is anywhere from 1:1 to as high as 10:1, which basically means that we as humans are in a symbiotic relationship with these bacteria. As weird to some as this might seem it is actually a blessing in disguise and if approached appropriately one of the highest leverage tools of the health conscious individual.

How does it work?
When we are born we inherit our microbiomes from our mothers vagina and breast milk, after which our environment, lifestyle and the foods we eat influence the colonies that form in and around our bodies. Meaning that although we may have not had a choice in who our mother was the power of shifting and controlling these colonies lays in our own hands. The sad truth is that the majority of us, especially those with food intolerances, were born without a strong diverse microbiome, this lack of microbiome in some cases has even been linked to diseases such as Autism and other mental disorders.

These bacteria mainly aid in the digestives process by breaking down nutrients and synthesizing larger compounds and minerals(such as silcia) into valuable enzymes and vitamins  but they also play a role in keeping the 'not so beneficial' bacteria at bay and, most interestingly, communicate directly with the brain altering both our mood and thinking patterns. They have such a radical effect on our brains that the term pyschobiotics is now becoming more popular amongst the research community. Current research now shows that up to 95% of the bodies serotonin (a mood boosting neurotransmitter) is a direct result of the activity/signaling from in the microbiome. With a strong and diverse microbiome the body is able to efficiently absorb and synthesize all necessary nutrients for proper cellular functioning (ATP production) making it far easier to get what the body needs from a nutrient deficient diet. This means more ATP and natural production of the bodies own antioxidant capacities.

What we really need to know though is that when it comes to the microbiome it is all about the ratio and diversity of the different types of bacteria. In fact in a healthy adult Candida is actually a positive commensal member of the microbiome however, they can be very opportunistic and when the amount of 'bad' bacteria starts to outweigh the 'good' due to sub-optimal diet and lifestyle choices issues can start to arise. This can even apply for the 'good' bacteria as too many of certain strands can actually produce too much serotonin which can lead to blood sugar issues. The key leverage point here is it to
consciously alter the make-up of the microbiome by consuming the right probiotics and then keeping the chosen colonies happy and healthy.

The perfect microbiome?
The best strategy to accomplish this task is two-fold: First, the old microbiome needs to be cleared out, the best way of doing this is the Re-Youthful Cleanse. The way the microbiome keeps itself protected and anti-biotic resistant is through something called biofilm. Biofilm is a sticky mucosal layer that these bacteria produce to house themselves, the problem with this biofilm is its amazing ability adhere to where ever in the body it so chooses and not be moved. This is one of the reasons the Re-Youthful Cleanse is so beneficial, it contains Myrrh and Frankincense which bust up these biofilms so that the clay can absorb them which then is passed via the colon. All while detoxing and remineralizing to body at the same time.

Second, the proper microbiome needs to be seeded into the body, this is done by consuming Goat Milk Kefir. The reason Goat Milk Kefir is the best is due to the the milk-protein substrate the Kefir is formed in which allows for it to be mucous forming (biofilm creating) this allows for it to survive the intense acidity of our stomach acid. Goat Milk also contain A2 rather than A1 casein and no lactose which makes it hypoallergenic. Now for anyone who's beliefs systems/dietary preferences prevent them from consuming milk, Water Kefir can be consumed but it contains only 10-15 strains compared to the 50 + of Milk Kefir and due to its comparatively weak mucus forming properties it's ability to colonize is lacking. Also, for those that are potentially Lactose Intolerant, Milk Kefir is actually lactose free as all the lactose (sugar) has been consumed by the kefir grains during fermentation and due to the high Lactobacillus content it can effectively re-populate the gut and heal the issue altogether.

This whole process start to finish takes about 2-weeks. From there all one needs to do is consume 8 oz of Goat Milk Kefir (preferably home-made) a few times a week and eat a balanced primarily Lectin Free diet to maintain their new microbiome.

Minerals

Minerals constitute the structure of all life. The Earth is comprised of them, the plants feed on them, and we in turn absorb those nutrients from our foods and environment. Minerals are required to build bones, teeth, hair, and nails. They are needed to synthesis proteins, create organic tissues, transport nutrients, and feed our cells. They are needed for everything to exist, including our minds, and bodies. Minerals are the foundation for health and life at large, making their significance one to always take into consideration.

What do they do?
Minerals work mainly on the cellular level acting as catalysts (meaning they make chemical reactions happen) for almost every reaction in the body. They  are able to do this because of their ionic nature (positive or negative charge), hence why we call many mineral salts electrolytes. As was mentioned above ATP is the currency of the body, it is this energy that allows nerves to fire, the heart to beat, for emotions to be felt, but what good is all that energy if it cannot be transported. This is where minerals come in not only are they involved in creating the Energy they also help to polarize the cellular environment creating a gradient on which this energy can flow and be transferred. Basically, minerals are the foundation that allow for the conversion of raw materials into energy and then the subsequent transferring of that energy. True death is cellular death and minerals are what our cells need to survive therefore without the proper minerals death and decay are all but guaranteed.

Minerals also help to form the structure of our body Magnesium, Calcium, Silica and Phosphorus all play a critical role in creating the lattice like structures of our bones and teeth, organic Sulfur helps compose the protein Keratin of which our hair is made, and all 5 play a vital role in our the health of our skin.

Much like the Microbiome the proper balance of minerals is of the utmost importance primarily the ratio between Magnesium, Calcium, Sodium, Potassium, Chlorine and Phosphorus. Add in ample amounts of Organic Sulfur and Silica and you have a recipe for optimal cellular functioning.
How to we get our minerals?
Normally we get our minerals from the food we eat and the water we drink. Traditionally, this was adequate for the individual. A strong diet of spring water, nutrient rich food from fertile soils, and plenty of naturally fermented beverages lead to a proper uptake of minerals and nutrients, proper hydration, a healthy diverse microbiome and in turn efficient ATP production.

However, over time our food and water sources have been depleted of the minerals and nutrients that they once used to contain, the standard diet of many people has shifted away from real whole nutrient dense food to that of processed variety, and as discussed above a weak dysfunctional microbiome is more and more prevalent. This has lead to a whole host of chronic issues that many claim to suffer with in the modern era.
Free Minerals
If minerals are the foundation of you cells then it would logically make sense that finding the most efficient manner in which to get them would be of great benefit. Normally, in order to get these minerals we need to digest  (which requires energy) and then assimilate. However, by consuming a highly bioavailable form of minerals in their free form we can bypass the step of digestion and give the body free currency for it to choose what to do with.

This is where Immortal Minerals comes in, it has been designed to be the perfect cellular nutrient with minerals in the ratios your cells prefer. By consuming Immortal Minerals you are giving the body what it needs to flourish without the hassle of having to wonder if you are getting enough.
