Oil of Lead
The Oil of Lead is extracted using traditional alchemical laboratory methods or what science would refer to today as a 'catalytic conversion reaction.' This essentially means that Lead is being used to catalyze a reaction within a solution of organic compounds, in return, producing essences that come to be know as the "Oil of Lead." This oil does not contain any metallic constituents or particles and is found to be organic in nature. Since the Oil of Lead does not contain any metallic particles, this means that no Lead is present in the Oil of Lead and should therefore not be viewed as toxic or as containing heavy metals.
The Oil of Lead is comprised of organic compounds, namely phenols, terpenes, and alcohols. It is these compounds that give the Oil of Lead its unique aroma, taste, color, and therapeutic effects.
Working with the Oil of Lead can have profound effects on one's physical and mental state and set the user in a position to carry on the long history of alchemical tradition. The Oil of Lead is known to work on the adrenal glands, skeletal system, spleen, and mental archetypes of fear, security, sensuality, presence, etc.

The Oil of Lead is one of the seven essences included in the Planetary Alignment Set and is traditionally taken on Saturdays to commune with the energies/archtypes of Saturn aligning the user with the overall mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical correspondences listed here.
The Oil of Lead deals greatly with stress, fear, and insecurity. It touches upon and helps balance all of the physical, mental, and emotional manifestations that can create anxiety, avoidance, and dishonesty. If the essence of human behavior or immorality be explored, it is likely that the answer of "fear" will be the most common conclusion to peoples actions. And, it is Fear at large that must be understood for the spiritual traveler to succeed in their journey.
The fear of failure, rejection, unacceptance, and the bottomless slew of emotional pains one might avoid are reflected upon in Saturn's shadow. The fear of falling, breaking, or accruing physical discomfort, this is, in the end, the fear of death. The fear that things as you know it will end and that you can't know what happens beyond 'gone.' Good times might end and unknowns are bound to come after that. Whether that is the dying of a relationship, a belief system, a plan, or even a life - it is due to the unconscious ignorance of transition, transformation, and Self that leads an un-illumined mind to resist the present moment and manifest degenerate experiences based upon the pursuit of desires that lack life, love, health, beauty, joy, self-sustainability, and a sense of self-security.The Oil of Lead greatly slows the mental chatter that leads to those sensations and transmutes fear into the culminated embodiment of security and strength.
This is the true spiritual foundation - divine security in self and the strength to travel forward into infinity, into the unknown.
The Oil of Lead asks the user to slow down, take a seat, get centered, grounded, and reflect upon where your fears, inhibitions, dislikes, end general complaints originate from. Wherever there is internal friction, resistance, or stress - those are the places Lead will work to restructure. With no fear of failure or resistance to not having your preference met, uninhibited travel of physical and mental plains become easily attainable.
This paves the way to the next mental archetype and metallic oil after Saturn -the Oil of Tin- which deals greatly with archetypes of creativity and emotional maturity...
